Nicolas Lanel

Nicolas Lanel is a Managing Director and European Head of Private Capital Advisory.  Prior to joining Evercore in 2013, Nicolas Lanel was a member of the Secondary Advisory Team within the Private Funds Group at UBS, where he was most recently Global Co-Head.  In this role, Nicolas focused on providing strategic advice to institutional investors and managers on the disposal of financial assets.  Nicolas Lanel established the European Secondary Advisory Team practice at UBS in 2007, after having joined the funds placement team in 2004, where he initially focused on coverage of institutional investors in Europe and the Middle East.  Prior to joining UBS in 2004, Nicolas spent nine years in the M&A group of Deutsche Bank in London and New York and completed an Analyst programme in the Private Equity Division of Paribas in Toronto.  Nicolas graduated from ESCP-Europe and speaks English, French, German and Spanish.
