Peter McKellar is Senior Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer at SL Capital Partners LLP. SL Capital Partners is a private equity fund of funds manager, with operations in both Europe and North America, that is focused on investing in buy-out funds, both primaries and secondaries, and co-investments. SL Capital Partners currently manages around €7.1 billion of private equity money on behalf of around 160 clients worldwide.

Peter started his career in investment banking at JP Morgan, before moving into industry in 1995 as corporate development director and then group finance director of Clydeport plc, a London Stock Exchange listed company and a former Montagu Private Equity buyout. Peter joined Standard Life Investments’ private equity team in the autumn of 1999.
